OUR HOST

Leesa Severyn

Leesa Severyn was born in Kansas City, Missouri but grew up in New Brunswick, Canada. She started modeling at the age of 12 and the money she made helped pay for college. After graduating from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, she set her sights on warmer weather. Trading in her figure skates and downhill skiis for bikinis and beach umbrellas she set off to Miami, Florida. Her outgoing personality and inquisitive nature opened the door to journalism.

She has hosted, reported, produced and written for stations in Miami, New York, Colorado and Los Angeles. She switched gears from hard-hitting news to entertainment in 2000 when she was hired by MGM as a correspondent on the nationally syndicated show Uncovered. Soon Leesa was covering the entertainment industry for E! Entertainment.

Her various assignments included interviewing A-list celebrities, attending movie premieres and walking the red carpet. She has also honed her acting skills in commercials, independent movies, and guest starring roles on television shows such as 24, The West Wing, ER and Crossing Jordan.
Along with hosting Into Undies, Leesa is also a correspondent for Drive on ESPN.

Like her career, Leesa’s life is a constant adventure. In December of 2006 she ran her first marathon in Honolulu, Hawaii to help raise money for AIDS prevention. On any given day, you can find Leesa hiking the Hollywood Hills, inline skating along the ocean or hanging out in the pilates studio.
